A truly remarkable trip that takes you to Namibia‘s surreal desert landscapes, finest wildlife experiences and quirky towns. From its tiny but charming capital, Windhoek, head to the endless dunes of the 80 million year old Namib Desert where you’ll get to explore the iconic Sessriem Canyon, Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. Then follow the coast north to Swakopmund, a curiously German town squeezed between the Atlantic and endless sands, and on to the rugged mountains and plains of Damaraland.

Following lunch, we make our way through the Namib Desert and make a stopover at the latest shipwreck on the Skeleton Coast before reaching Swakopmund in the early evening. Please note that we do not enter Skeleton Coast Park. The detour is to give you firsthand experience of the Shipwreck.
Exploring this coastal town on foot at midday is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon and you are encouraged to visit the jetty for sundowners overlooking the cold Atlantic Ocean. In the evening you can visit one of the lovely local restaurants for a delicious dinner (own expense).
