Wamkelekile- Welcome To South Africa,

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a local guide from Local Safaris Africa team who will drive you to your hotel. As you drive toward the city, your view from afar will be Table Mountain, one of the most spiritual places on earth, with its heart, two oceans and the beautiful city of Cape Town at its feet. Spend your time relaxing and exploring this wonderful city. You have our top recommendations for activities, restaurants and shopping so that you can make the most of your time here. If you would like us to organize your time here with a privately-guided tour, according to your interests, we can do so. Otherwise soak in and enjoy the warm welcome of the Mother City.
Day 2

Table Mountain The Cape Town City Tour

After breakfast, we ascend by aerial cableway to the summit of Table Mountain, an iconic symbol of the city (weather permitting). From atop, view the amazing panoramic views of the waterfront, the majestic Hottentots Mountains, and the gorgeous Cape Peninsula. On a clear day, you can see as far as Robben Island.

A city tour with your local guide gives you an exploration of the rich history and cultural sights of Cape Town on a drive past the impressive Castle of Good Hope, the City Hall, St. George's Cathedral, a seat of the Anglican Church, the Great Synagogue and Holocaust Center, and the lush Company's Gardens adjacent to the South African Parliament.

Situated on the slopes of Signal Hill, we reach the exotic Bo-Kaap quarter, formerly the Cape Malay Quarter, one of the oldest and most fascinating residential areas in the city with its brightly colored homes and winding cobblestone streets that date back to the 18th century.

Linger on your own or return to the hotel for leisure time. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Cape Peninsula, Cape of Good Hope And Penguins Colony

Wake up to the beauty of this historic city and at 8 am we depart to explore  the picturesque scenery on a Cape Peninsula tour as you drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline. Relish the breathtaking views along legendary Chapman's Peak and take a ride on the Flying Dutchman funicular to the old lighthouse. On your way back towards Cape Town, visit the endearing African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Endless views lie ahead at every turn as we travel along the stunning Cape Peninsula. Visit Hout Bay, a lively coastal town with a picturesque harbour and colourful boats moored on the dock along with fish markets, trendy restaurants, and shops. Driving south over dramatic Chapman's Peak, the route follows the Atlantic Ocean to legendary Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, the romantic meeting of the mighty Atlantic and Indian oceans. Here, the one-of-a-kind Flying Dutchman funicular takes us from Cape Point Nature Reserve, a Natural World Heritage Site, to the old lighthouse with time to stroll along the cliff paths and photograph the unbelievable vistas.

A change of pace as we travel past the naval base of Simon's Town to Boulders Beach, with its wind sheltered bays and sandy shores, home to a breeding colony of over 2,000 endangered African Penguins. To view these adorable little birds, a walkway has been built that takes us on an intimate tour of the area they call home. After lunch, a remarkable wine tasting follows at the revered historic Groot Constantia Wine Estate where South Africa's wine industry originated. After a tour of the vineyard and cellars, we sample their award-winning wines that have been a brand since the Napoleonic era. Return to Cape Town with the evening at leisure.
