Experience the vast wildlife and natural landscapes of Uganda, where you will walk through the magical forests and, if you are lucky, spend some time with the magnificent Mountain gorillas. This private lodge safari displays the true wonders of Uganda, where you will walk through the forests of Bwindi National Park and Lake Mburo National Park. Starting and ending in Entebbe, Uganda – 5 Days (a Uganda Gorilla Adventure 4 – Day Fly-In tour is also available).
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Visitors can see chimpanzee, monkeys, elephants, and small antelopes, as well over 360 bird species and over 200 butterfly species. This area contains 23 bird species that are restricted to the Albertine Rift, which cannot be seen in any other part of East Africa!
Lake Mburo National Park
Given that it is centered on a series of swamp-fringed lakes, the park is teeming with 310 recorded bird species, including 60 specialist water birds. The open water birds include Pink-backed pelican, Darter, White pelican, Yellow-billed duck, Long-tailed cormorant, White winged black tern and Greater cormorant. Lakeshore and swamp birds include the Fish eagle, Pied kingfisher, African finfoot, Great white egret, and Night heron. The green acacia woodland surrounding the lakes provides shelter to 68 different species of mammals, including zebra, topi, warthog, buffalo, impala, roan, leopard, hyena, jackal, and the last surviving Ugandan population of eland.
Gorilla Trekking
One of the top attractions in Uganda is to explore the forests and discover the vast variety of wildlife that live within Uganda, including the trek to find the great Mountain Gorillas of this region.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After an early morning game drive, we depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (the drive will be approximately 6-7 hours). The park derives its name from its thick vegetation with an immense variety of evergreen trees, festooned with lianas, and epiphytes, which reach great heights in their search for sunlight. The park is well-known as it hosts half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas.
