In season (August to November), this is also the best place on Earth to watch whales from the shoreline.

Day 1

Welcome To Cape Town

After arriving at Cape Town International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in the heart of Cape Town overlooking the Company Gardens, with exceptional views of Table Mountain and Lion's Head. Depending on time, you may have an afternoon city tour on foot. The walk takes you through Bo Kaap, Company Gardens and the city square where the world reknown and first democratic president of South Africa Nelson Mandela made his first public speech after release from prison.
 
Day 2

Table Mountain National Park And Robben Island

Today, we take you on an interactive guided city tour. Our rich heritage will be detailed to you by your experienced local guide. You will do easy walks through some places. We will introduce you to our historical icons that sahe the city that you see today.

Day 3

Cape Of Good Hope And African Penguins

Highlights of today's tour include a visit to Boulders Beach (home to African penguins), an awe-inspiring view over Cape Point. The Peninsula tour includes a visit to Hout Bay, where you have the opportunity to visit local markets.

Along the southeast corner of the Cape Peninsula is Cape Point Nature Reserve. Rich in biodiversity with an array of unique flora and fauna, Cape Point is a must-see on anyone's list. This spectacular location offers secluded beaches, endemic fynbos, and a large variety of animals, reptiles, and aquatic birds. The breathtaking views across the bay from the Cape's most powerful lighthouse are a must-see.

There is a roughly 2 hour hike from the Cape Of Good Hope right to the the tower at Cape Point.

Day 4

Whale Coast

Today is departure from Cape Town to the start of the Overberg region. First, we take you to the Cape Winelands. You will enjoy an included wine tasting and taste some of the best produce (from wine to cheese and olives) South Africa has to offer. Once we arrive to Hermanus, you have time to take some walks along the whale coast and try spotting some whales.  The day ends with your arrival at your accommodation.

Day 5

Cango Caves Hike And Ostrich Farm Visit  

Today's journey takes you farther inland to Oudtshoorn. make a brief stop in the historical town of Swellendam before proceeding to Oudtshoorn. The area is predominantly known for ostrich farms, biltong, and the famous Cango Caves. Enjoy a day of exploring beneath the earth's surface at one of the most fantastic locations in the country. For the adventure seeker, you will have an opportunity to be adventurous and do the hike beneath the cave. A visit to the Wildlife Centre will allow you to come up close to some of South Africa's famous animals.

Day 6

Knysna Boat Cruise

Today you head back to the coast and the seaside town of Knysna. The day will allow for relaxing strolls along the shore, a luxury boat cruise along the lagoon, and enjoying some of Knysna's best and most sought-after cuisine: oysters.

For decades, Knysna has retained its title as the oyster capital of South Africa—and rightfully so. Located at the end of the Garden Route, the town of Knysna is built on the shore of a warm-water lagoon. This scenic town is renowned for its beauty and tranquillity.

Knysna is a popular holiday destination for local and international visitors, hosting many events throughout the year. Surrounded by forests, water, and rolling hills, Knysna is the ideal destination for hiking, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, running, and relaxing.

Day 7

Birds Sanctuary And Primates Sanctuary

Leaving Knysna, we drive through the beautiful coastal town of Pletternberg Bay. You will do an included experience of the conservation efforts for the world's primates as well as birds. These animals have been rescued from animal traffickers and some come from zoos. From here, we drive to our accommodation situated in the storms river village.

Day 8

Tsitsikama National Park

Its an adventure day today. You have the option to join a tree canopy zipline, bungee jump (the world's highest commercial jump at 216m), combined kayak and lilo or enjoy a scenic trail walk to the suspension bridge at your own pace.

Day 9

Addo Elephant National Park

Today you will embark on a different experience of a safari game drive in Addo elephant national park. You will have a chance to spot some big game and. herds of elephants call this place home. From here, you will drive to Port Elizabeth where you will sleep tonight.

Day 10

Airport Drop Off

 

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before your transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport for your onward flights. You have an option to explore the town before going to the airport.
