What to Expect

Up to Dune 7, the tallest sand dune in the world, you can soar above the breathtaking dunes. And as you circle around, take in the scenery as you fly through Long Beach and over the Swakopmund River Mouth before making a second arrival at the airstrip.

The tallest sand dune in the world, Dune 7, which stands about 383 meters outside of Walvis Bay, is a well-liked destination for visitors, sandboarders, and quad riders. The local council has constructed restrooms, installed running water, and planted trees at the base of the dune to provide visitors with a comfortable area to unwind, enjoy a barbecue, and take in the breathtaking views.
